Our Journey

It all started with a simple question — surprisingly hard to answer: “What is the real value of a business opportunity in the government market?”

Frustrated by the lack of timely, high-quality public procurement data, we created B2Gov to close that critical information gap. From day one, we understood that the private sector plays a key role in driving competition, transparency, and fair participation — guiding principles of public procurement.

That’s how B2Gov was born: to turn frustration into innovation. Faced with fragmented and opaque government data across Latin America, we built a platform that transforms millions of scattered records into actionable business intelligence.

Today, with 250+ active users across 13 countries, B2Gov stands as the leading data lab for public procurement in the region, helping governments, companies, and multilateral organizations make smarter, evidence-based decisions.

Our motivation is simple yet ambitious: to democratize global access to public procurement data and unlock its potential as a driver of transparency, efficiency, and real-world impact.
